Meet Harry Knox, a gritty, tactical, and unrelenting private investigator with a rich and complex background rooted deeply in his years of dedicated service in the Royal Military Police (RMP).

Born Henry Knox in a tough Northern English town marked by hardship and limited opportunities, Harry chose service over academia despite his academic talent and scholarship prospects. Inspired by his father's naval service, Harry joined the British Army to pursue a life of action and purpose. Over two decades, Harry rose to become a Company Sergeant Major/Warrant Officer Class 2, serving in demanding environments including Germany, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Kosovo, Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa. Specialising in investigations, Strike Operations, and counter-insurgency work, Harry became known as a meticulous, tactical thinker with a sharp eye for detail.

Leaving military service was difficult for Harry, as civilian life lacked the structured sense of purpose and clear missions he thrived on. His venture into private investigation often led him into mundane tasks that never satisfied his deep-rooted drive for meaningful challenges. Personal frustrations mounted as civilian bureaucracy tested his patience, eventually contributing to strains in his family life and resulting in his wife and daughter relocating to Cyprus.

Despite personal setbacks, Harry remains guided by an unwavering moral code and an intense dedication to justice. His analytical mind and strategic approach—shaped by readings of Marcus Aurelius and The Art of War—make him uniquely adept at handling complex, often dangerous situations. He has an intuitive grasp of investigative techniques, interrogation, psychological tactics, and combat methods honed through rigorous military training.

Harry's physical presence is as formidable as his character: stocky but athletic, standing six feet tall with short dark brown hair, a receding hairline, deep blue eyes, and an angular face perpetually set in a stern, tight-mouthed expression. His attire of cargo trousers, Altberg boots, neat polo shirts for work, and nostalgic 80s rock band t-shirts during downtime reflect his disciplined yet deeply human character.

Knox operates from his ex-military Land Rover 110 Wolf, a rugged vehicle serving as a mobile base stocked with investigative tools, survival gear, and everyday essentials, reinforcing his readiness for any situation. He is highly skilled in military combat, close-quarters confrontations, investigative techniques, interrogation, and driving in both defensive and offensive scenarios, honed by wartime experiences.
